SCO Engineering was founded in 1994 in Fort Wayne, Indiana by William R. Sheets and Thomas P. Offerle. At that time, SCO offered design services in mechanical, plumbing, and electrical engineering. In the following years, additional services in civil engineering and land surveying were added to give our clients a full package of services available to them. Douglas D. Kelsey was added as a principal in 2001 and Aaron E. Springer was added as a principal in 2004, and now SCO offers our clients a strong team of engineers with a principal assigned to every project.

With a total staff of over 20 dedicated registered engineers, surveyors, designers, and support staff, this combined experience has enabled the firm to build a broad practice. These areas include building renovations, expansions, and alterations such as childcare, education, medical, commercial, industrial, universities, corrections, and department of transportation.
